Brad, a native of Williamsburg, Virginia, obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Medical College of Virginia and went on to graduate as a Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from the University of Florida. Dr. Cherry completed his general surgery internship, anesthesiology training and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida, in Gainesville.
Dr. Cherry is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Florida and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Northeast Florida; the Florida and American Dental Associations; the Academy of Osseointegration; and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Cherry maintains his certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Cherry is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has an active Florida medical license and maintains hospital privileges at Baptist Medical Centers (South and Beaches) and at Wolfson Children’s Hospital where he serves as a surgeon on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team. Brad enjoys traveling, running and basketball. He and his wife, Joanne, have two sons.
